The single disk converter is rated up to 500HP. All new lock-up billet lock-up piston and front cover are used to prevent any deflection of the lock-up surfaces. A larger lock-up friction allows this converter to handle many of today mild upgrades to the Cummins Diesel. Torrington bearings, furnace brazing and tig welding of all internal components assure internal strength of the converter. Your choice of custom fluid coupling utilizes the low end torque and improves driveability and towing.
