We repair, upgrade and remanufacture. We program them with the latest Ford reflash. We program them to your vin so you won’t get a code. We give you a data sheet of the ficm showing its performance, when it left our shop. They are sandblasted and we offer a lifetime warranty on the repair which is the ½ portion of the ficm, that is reparable.
Part Number: RFICM-1111-01
There are two parts to the ficm and the portion that is known as the ½ shell cannot be repaired. The cost, of the ½ shell, at the dealership is $400. There is a $200 core charge which we return to you 1 week after we receive your core. When we receive your core we need to repair, program and test to make sure it works before we send it out to another customer. If after the work is done it does not work, that means the ½ shell is broken. There is no core refund and you are welcome to request the core be shipped back to you, at your expense. We ask that you keep the serial number for the core you send to us, so that you know you are receiving back the same ficm that you sent in. The serial number is the last 7 digits under the barcode.
If you can send yours in advance, turn-around-time is about 3 days, excluding shipping time. If you can send it, let me know. There is a form that I need you to fill-in and include with the ficm. If you can’t, I can place you on the backorder list. I will need your telephone number to call you 2 days before we are able to ship. There is no obligation to purchase and if you don’t need it anymore, when I call, that is fine.
Some 2003-2007 F-Super Duty, 2003-2005 Excursion and 2004-2010 E-Series vehicles equipped with a 6.0L engine may exhibit a runs rough, lacks power, hard start, no start concern with or without diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0611 code or various injector circuit codes. This concern may be caused by a DC-DC converter located in one half of the Fuel Injector Control Module (FICM) or by the main circuit board in the other half of the FICM.
The FICM contains two major internal components, the main circuit board and a DC-DC converter. The DC-DC converter is the device that amplifies battery voltage to 48 volts to operate the injectors.
Low FICM supply voltage results in increased FICM operating loads, potentially damaging or shortening the life of the FICM.
We repair and rebuild our FICM's from cores to 48v. To upgrade to 58v please part number RFICM-1111-03.
We offer a 1 year warranty on all our remanufactured FICM's and reqiure a core return. Core charge $360.00 - Part Number: 1111-CC
